Students visit the hill of Acropolis and present to the rest of the group their chosen monument. They collect information for their chosen monument, take photographs and create drawings and sketches. They will use this information in a later session where they are going to recreate their chosen monument in a digital form.
Students visit the New Acropolis Museum and learn about the artefacts (pottery, jewelry, objects used in daily life, weapons etc.) and statues found in their chosen monument. They collect information about the artefacts and statues for their monument that they will use in a later session where they are going to add these artefacts and statues in the digital recreation of their chosen monument.
Students attend a pottery workshop. Using the potter’s wheel, they create an artefact of their choice that was found in the monument they are investigating.
